The University City Musician Documentary Project, Neighbor

We were born of an idea that the Midwestern American town of University City in the state of Missouri (directly adjacent to St. Louis) has produced an inordinate number of people that have taken the arts on as a profession at some point in their lives over its slightly more than 100 years of existence. We're exploring the roots of this part of the culture of this town and are seeking people that have gone on to be professional musicians for some point in their lives. Currently we have more than 190 such people and the list is growing every day.  We are combing the US and the rest of the planet to find as many people as possible that have passed through U. City in their lives that have made music a significant part of their day-to-day life and influenced music globally.
