Shera D. Dalin is an author, journalist, and ghostwriter whose work has appeared in the Washington Post, Latina Magazine, St. Louis Magazine and other national and regional publications.

She has covered a wide variety of stories for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Associated Press, United Press International and other news organizations. She is the co-author of &#34;The Art of Barter: How to Trade for Almost Anything&#34; published by Skyhorse Publishing of New York. <br><br>Outside of journalism, Shera creates a variety of business communications including websites, brochures, and other marketing materials. She also teaches journalism at St. Louis University. <br><br>She is the membership chair of the St. Louis Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, former secretary of the board of Hispanic Educational, Cultural and Scholarship Fund, and the secretary of the board of the Soul-Esteem Center in St. Louis.<br><br>Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Shera lives in University City, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis, with her husband, Jorge Riopedre, and daughter, Mereya Riopedre.  She is always open to barter opportunities.
