Police have released composite sketches of the alleged shooter.
University City Police have released the identity of the two people shot and killed Monday. They are Phebe Stallings, 54, and her son Mosary Stallings, 23. Both were residents of the 6500 block of Bartmer. Police continue to look for the shooter and released three composite sketches of possible suspects Tuesday. The suspect is described as a black male with a medium complexion who was wearing a hooded sweatshirt or jacket. The suspect was last seen fleeing south on foot. University City Police report that two people were shot and killed Monday in University City. According to a news release from Capt. Michael Ransom, officers responded to Sutter Ave. and Bartmer Industrial Drive around 2:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, on a report of two people who had been shot. Officers discovered a woman, age 54, and a man, age 23, who had both been shot. The victims were taken to an area hospital where they died of their injuries. In a later release, Ransom reported that the two were approached or met up with a man before the shooting, who was seen running away. At this time, police do not know if the victims knew the man. The University City Police report that two people have been shot and killed today in University City. According to a news release from Capt. Michael Ransom, officers responded to Sutter Ave. and Bartmer Industrial Drive around 2:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, on a report of two people who had been shot. Officers discovered a woman, age 54, and a man, age 23, who had both been shot. The victims were taken to an area hospital where they died of their injuries. University City Police continue to search for the person that shot Destinee Clemons, 17.
University City Police continue to search for suspects in the Thursday night drive-by shooting of 17-year-old Destinee Clemons. Fox2News reports police have a description of the vehicle and that officers are looking for four black males.. Clemons was shot and killed on her front porch on Plymouth Ave. around 8 p.m. Thursday night. Her sister, 23-year-old Jerry′Ka McCauley, was sitting next to her and was struck in the arm. Her wound was not serious. Clemons' mother Kendra Jackson, 43, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch she couldn't think of a motive for the shooting. According to reports, the 18-year old was killed in a drive-by shooting Thursday.
8 a.m. Update: The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is identifying the victim as Destinee Clemons. An 18-year-old girl was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting Thursday night, according to multiple news outlets. KMOV and KSDK both reported the death late Thursday night. The teen's family told KMOV that the girl was killed and another person was injured when they were sitting on a front porch located on Plymouth Avenue near Sutter Avenue when a car drove by and opened fire around 8 p.m. The other victim was taken to the hospital and her condition is unknown. I agree with all of the writers, especially with the leadership, like you Rept. Ellinger. The children need the help of the adults not only the police, who I am sure will do a superb job.
