Steak 'n Shake Chili Voted Best in Mid-County

The chain has locations in Maplewood and Webster Groves.

Apparently, Steak 'n Shake is famous for much more than its steakburgers. The chain, which has locations Maplewood and Webster Groves, is the winner of this week's Mid-County Food Fight on chili. For this week's Patch Food Fight, we asked readers where they find the best bowl of chili in the Mid-County area. Steak 'n Shake was the winner with 48 percent of the vote. The Maplewood church's fish was voted the best in the area.

Immaculate Conception in Maplewood is the winner of this week's Mid-County Food Fight. For this week's Patch Food Fight, we asked readers where they find the best fish dinner in the Mid-County area. The votes are in, and here's the best place to grab french fries in Mid-County.

You don't have to make tracks for the Wild West to grab a plate of tasty french fries. The votes are in, and with 48 percent of the vote, Patch users have selected Trainwreck Saloon as the best place for french fries in Mid-County. The Rock Hill restaurant and bar derailed the competition. So saddle up, partners, and mosey on down to the Trainwreck Saloon.
