Library to Host Public Service Fair May 11

Participants will have a chance to meet representatives from several area nonprofits, learn more about their work and find out what they can do to get involved.

The University City Public Library will host a service fair from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 11.  Participants will have a chance to meet representatives from several area nonprofits, learn more about their work and find out what they can do to get involved. A few of the many organizations attending include:  This event will take place in the Library’s auditorium.  Refreshments will be served, and there is no charge for admission.

Volunteer for an Indoor Triathlon or Sort Food Donations

Help with the JCC's 9th Annual Indoor Triathlon at Jewish Community Center on from 5:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. Feb. 9. The J's 9th Annual Indoor Triathlon is seeking volunteers to serve as timers and lap counters. Volunteers receive a commemorative t-shirt and complimentary snacks. Click here to register. Volunteer: Sort Donations for Foodbank, Assist St. Louis Arc

Can you spare a few hours to help out in your community this month?

Assist at Club 1717 Dance for adults with disabilities at St. Louis Arc Volunteers will assist at St. Louis Arc's Club 1717 Dance for adults with disabilities from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday Jan. 19, by setting up the dance, checking in dancers, serving refreshments, assisting with the food line and cleaning up after the dance. Send Me Saturday Projects Unite Volunteers

Check out these 9 different ways to give back in the St. Louis community Oct. 27. Register by Oct. 22.

Volunteers are needed to participate in Send Me Saturday in one of 12 community volunteer projects hosted by organizations and faith congregations across the area. Register by Monday, Oct. 22 for the event that will happen Oct. 27.  The day will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will start with a devotional, followed by projects and lunch.
