Five Places to See Holiday Lights in St. Louis

Check out this round up of places to see some holiday lights displays.

Looking for a light display? Look no further. Winter Wonderland in Tilles Park Winter Wonderland runs from Nov. 21 to Jan. 1 and is closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 31. The park is open to both cars and carriages from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Friday but is closed to cars on Saturdays. Cost is $10 for a vehicle, $20 for a limousine, $40 for a commercial van and $90 for a tour bus. Cars must enter from southbound McKnight Road. Carriage rides are available every night. Advanced reservations are require for carriage rides. Ticket prices vary. Tilles Park Winter Wonderland Opens Tonight

Pedestrians strolled the Tilles Park Winter Wonderwalk this weekend for a preview of Winter Wonderland, which opens today.

Winter Wonderland, the million-light holiday display in Tilles Park, opens on Wednesday for the 27th annual showing this year. Pedestrians got a sneak preview over the weekend, and food trucks provided fuel for the exercise. The drive-through, by car or horse-drawn carriage, opens Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 5:30 p.m. and runs through Jan. 1. It is closed Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Saturdays are reserved for carriage rides only. The following information is from the St. Louis County Parks Department.  Admission Fees: No reservations are needed. Tilles Park Winter Wonderwalk Is Next Weekend

Walk through the annual holiday light extravaganza before it opens to cars.

The 27th annual St. Louis County Parks Winter Wonderland in Tilles Park opens to the public Wednesday, Nov. 21, but patrons can experience the fun a week early at the Winter Wonderwalk. Patrons can stroll through the park to view the million-plus holiday lights on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 17-18 Winter Wonderwalk is $5 per person and strollers, wagons and dogs on a 6-foot leash are welcome. The walkthroughs will be held at the following times both nights: Advanced registration is required. Readers Say Tilles Park Is the Best Park in Mid-County

Tilles Park wins the Mid-County Readers' Choice Award for having the best park in the area.

Tilles Park is this week's Readers' Choice winner for the best park in Mid-County.  Readers' Choice is a friendly competition among businesses, restaurants and attractions in Mid-County Patch sites including, Clayton-Richmond Heights, Kirkwood, Maplewood-Brentwood, University City and Webster Groves.  Tilles Park in St. Louis County won with 29 percent of the vote. Here's how our other nominees placed: Congratulations to Tilles Park for winning this week's Readers' Choice battle.
