The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri release the 2012 bestseller list.
In 2012, Thin Mints led the way in cookie sales for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri (GSEM). The familiar mint patties even outsold Oreos. Rounding out the top five best sellers were: This year, GSEM is excited to offer a new cookie as part of its product lineup – Mango Crèmes! These tropical treats are vanilla and coconut sandwich cookies with a mango-flavored crème filling. In addition to Mango Crèmes, GSEM will offer Lemonade and Thanks-A-Lot varieties. Did you know that five of the top 10 cookies sold in the United States are Girl Scout Cookies? Girl Scout troops across eastern Missouri will be going door-to-door taking initial orders until Sunday, Feb. 3. Troops will take additional orders until March 17. Cookies will be delivered …

It's that time of year! Girl Scout Cookie sales begin Jan. 12, 2013, and a new cookie has been added to this year's lineup. The Mango Creme, a vanilla and coconut sandwich cookie with a mango-flavored creme filling, joins this year's offering of Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Shortbreads, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Lemonades and Thanks-a-Lots. Cookies cost $3.50 per package. Orders will be taken from Jan. 12 until Feb. 3, and cookies will be delivered beginning Feb. 27. Booths will be set up between Feb. 27 and March 17 in locations around the Metro St. Louis area. University City residents can begin ordering Girl Scout Cookies.
Start making space in your freezers. It’s once again time to start stocking up on Girl Scout Cookies! For $3.50 a package, you can place your orders for your classic favorites, such as Thin Mints, and new flavors, such as Lemonades. Orders will be taken until Jan. 30, and cookies will be delivered beginning Feb. 23. Sales this year will proceed as usual, with a few changes. The Girl Scout council in the St. Louis area will be using a different baker than in years past. So what does that mean for the St. Louis area? It’s as simple as a name change.
