Looking for something fun and different to do with the kids / family this weekend in or near University City? Look no further! We’ve got some ideas right here! DELTA DENTAL MARDI GRAS  When/Where: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m Sunday, St. Louis Zoo. Why Go: The Zoo-style Mardi Gras celebration is complete with mask-making, beads, face painting and grand finale parade. Attendees can also dance to live music courtesy of Bob Case with his Wild Accusations. Pricing: Free. University City Resident Is New CFO of St. Louis Science Center

U City resident Barbara Boyle starts her job as the new CFO of the St. Louis Science Center January 1st.

University City resident Barbara Boyle has been named Chief Financial Officer of the St. Louis Science Center. "It's a pleasure to add Barbara Boyle to our team," St.Louis Science Center President and CEO Doug King said in a press release. "Her wealth of experience in accounting, financial reporting, finance, and capital management will be vital in the dynamic years ahead."  Boyle was officially named to the position in September. The science center made her appointment public this week. Boyle applied for the position early in the year. She said landing the job gave her "a great feeling." The newly appointed CFO worked as an investment banker for two decades with A.G. Edwards. Boyle grew up in St. Louis and is a graduate of Washington …
