The restaurant won this week's Readers' Choice battle by a landslide with 71 percent of the vote.
The Piccadilly in Maplewood is the winner in this week's Food Fight, in which we asked readers for their choice for best brunch in Mid-County. The restaurant won with 71 percent of the vote among the finalists in the competition. Last month, The Piccadilly won the Patch Readers' Choice Award for having the best barbeque in Mid-County. The votes are in! We asked Patch readers for your favorite Mid-County brunch spots and got some great spots for our favorite weekend meal. We read your comments on Patch, as well as comments posted to our Patch Facebook pages and Twitter accounts. Here are your choices: Square One Brewery in Lafayette Square and GC Brewery in Creve Coeur also were nominated; however, neither are in Mid-County. Thank you to all those who nominated your favorite local establishments in Part 1 of this Food Fight. Now it's time to pick a winner. You've got to try their baby back ribs!
The Piccadilly, in Maplewood, is the winner of this week's Food Fight, in which we asked readers for their choice for the best Mid-County barbecue spots. The Piccadilly won with 47 percent of the vote among the five finalists. The results among the other finalists were: Voting in our barbecue Food Fight poll started Wednesday morning and ended at 5 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
