School Board to Vote on Facilities Committee Plan
The facilities committee recommended putting a bond issue on the April ballot. The proposal is before the School District of University City school board tonight.
The School District of University City school board is slated to meet at 7 p.m. tonight at the district's McNair Administration building. The board is set to vote on a recommendation from the facilities steering committee on an April 2013 bond issue. The board first heard the proposal at a workshop meeting earlier this month. The board will have an opportunity to accept recommendations from the facilities steering committee that answer the following questions: If the board accepts the report tonight, it will vote on whether to place the bond issue on the ballot at its December meeting. Other items on the agenda include: Recognition Consent Agenda Superintendent's Reports, Recommendations The meeting is open to the public.
