With scorching temperatures beating down the St. Louis area, ice cream might be a food on everyone’s minds. Well, coincidentally, July is National Ice Cream Month. To beat the summer heat and give you some background, here are a few fun facts from the International Ice Cream Association about ice cream, the frozen treat that makes everyone smile, especially in the summertime. There’s several great locations in University City to indulge in the cold delicacy, too, including Ben & Jerry's, Miss M's Candy Boutique Cold Stone Creamery. Did you know that there is a 100% sugar free ice cream? "No sugar added" ice cream has sugar in it - sometimes lots of it.
