The man who led several police agencies on a chase from Maryland Heights late Monday night and into Tuesday has been charged with assault. The chase ended in University City after midnight on Tuesday morning. Jorge Wallace, 25, faces two charges of assault with a deadly weapon. According to KSDK, Wallace is wanted on similar charges in Georgia. The incident began with a traffic stop in Maryland Heights, according to Fox 2 News. The pursuit ended near Olive and Bartmer in University City a little after midnight.
