UCHS' New Principal Says Goodbye via YouTube

Michael Maclin wishes a fond farewell to his students at Maplewood-Richmond Heights.

Maplewood-Richmond Heights Vice Principal Michael Maclin is heading to University City High School, but not before saying goodbye to his former students and collegues. Maclin was hired as the new principal of UCHS in early March. His farewell video was posted on the MRH website. In turn, the students and faculty also posted a goodbye video for him.  In his good-bye to MRH, he said the school will always be in his heart.  "Love you guys," he concluded.

U City Hires Malcolm Hill as Athletic Director

The U City school board made it official at its last meeting. This is the second hire from Maplewood-Richmond Heights in recent months.

Maplewood Richmond Heights Athletic Director Malcolm Hill submitted his resignation early last week. He has accepted the same position at University City High School. The School District of University City School Board accepted his contract at its meeting on April 19. Hill would give no other details other than to say he’s looking forward to taking on the position at a school the size of University City. It’s a Class 4 school in most sports. MRH is Class 3. Hill spent one year as MRH athletic director. He was hired last summer. MRH Director of Communications Brian Adkisson said the listing for a new MRH athletic director was posted on April 17.
