David LaPrade Pleads Guilty to Lambert Airport Bar Break-In, Left Alcohol-Soaked Skivvies Behind

The Lambert-St. Louis International Airport traveler broke through a security gate Dec. 30 to raid the Pasta House bar, but left clothing and his cell phone behind.

A man who broke into a closed Pasta House restaurant and bar at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport to drink pleaded guilty Friday to second-degree burglary and second-degree property damage. Airport Police said David LaPrade, 24, of Southampton, MA, broke through a security gate to get into the restaurant and left his alcohol-soaked underwear and T-shirt and a cell phone behind the restaurant’s bar. Airport Police Chief Paul Mason told Patch that LaPrade drank alcohol while inside the restaurant and “spilled quite a bit of it.” “This is all caught on videotape,” Mason said. “He took off his clothes, dressed again and exited the area.” A sentencing hearing was set for May 24. Man Leaves Behind Alcohol-Soaked Underwear After Airport Bar Break-In

The man broke into the Pasta House restaurant at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and raided the bar.

A man was arrested by Lambert-St. Louis International Airport security agents after he broke into a closed Pasta House restaurant, leaving his cell phone and alcohol-soaked underwear behind. David M. LaPrade, 24 of Southampton, MA, was charged with second-degree burglary and property damage. Airport Police said LaPrade was caught on security cameras as he tore a security gate off its hinges to get into the closed restaurant about Sunday evening. An airport official said it was late at night and the area was deserted. Airport Police said they discovered LaPrade’s alcohol-soaked underwear, T-shirt and cell phone behind the restaurant’s bar. Lambert Airport, American Airlines Reach Lease Settlement Agreement

The agreement cuts the airline's flight space in half. Rejection of the agreements could have jeopardized American Airlines service at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.

Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and American Airlines, Inc. have reached a tentative agreement that will settle American’s financial and operational obligations at the Airport. American’s parent company, AMR Corporation, is currently dealing with Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and the agreement has to be fully approved. The City of St. Louis, which owns and operates the Airport, pursued a negotiated settlement, which includes modifying leases with American Airlines, to avoid a rejection of all existing agreements with the city.
