U City Mom Left 9-Year-Old Son Home Alone for Two Days, Police Say

The woman was charged with first-degree child endangerment.

A University City woman faces criminal charges for leaving her 9-year-old son at home alone for two days. Ronisha Thompson, 26, of the 900 block of Warder Avenue, was charged Sept. 10 with first-degree child endangerment, a class C felony. University City Police said Thompson left her son at home alone between 3 p.m. May 14 and 1:58 p.m. May 16. Bond was set at $25,000, cash only. I have to say the 1965 made-for-TV special "A Charlie Brown Christmas," because I grew up a Peanuts fan, and watching this special on CBS, where it first-aired for many years before going to ABC, that to me brings back great memories. I'll never forget the times I saw the mini-movie on Channel 4.   more ›
