Woman Stabs Husband In Neck, Fires Gun During Argument, Police Say

University City Police said Daryel L. Mueller also fired a shot in the couple's apartment April 24.

A University City woman faces criminal charges for stabbing her husband in the neck and firing a handgun in their apartment in the 800 block of Lepere Avenue in U City. Daryel A. Mueller, 31, was charged Thursday with first-degree domestic assault and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon. University City Police said Mueller was arguing with her husband April 24 when she pulled out a Taurus 9 mm handgun, threatened him and fired a shot during the argument. When her husband started to leave, she stabbed him in the neck with a knife, police said. Police said the man got nine stitches in his neck at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Man Caught With Semi-Automatic Handgun With 32 Rounds, Police Say

University City Police said Terron Jackson was illegally carrying the weapon in the 8000 block of Noel Court.

University City Police found a man carrying a concealed TEC-9 semi-automatic pistol March 15 in University City. Terron Jackson, 19 of the 1100 block of 18th Street in St. Louis, was charged March 16 with unlawful use of a weapon. University City Police reported an officer stopped Jackson in the 8000 block of Noel Court after the officer saw him take some suspicious actions, including throwing away a bag that contained a TEC-9 semi-automatic handgun. The gun had a magazine with 32 live rounds. During a search, the officer said he found Jackson had some marijuana. Bail for Jackson was set at $10,000. U City Man Indicted on Robbery at His Own Home

University City Police said Wesley Hughes agreed to meet a man at Hughes' home to sell him a gun and then robbed the man.

A St. Louis County grand jury indicted a University City man Wednesday on a first-degree robbery that took place at his own home. University City Police said Wesley Hughes, 21, of the 1100 block of Backer Street in U City, arranged to meet another man Oct. 29 at Hughes’ home to sell the other man a handgun. When the man arrived, Hughes pulled out the handgun and robbed the victim of $122 and his cell phone. The man then called police, who found Hughes with the man’s cell phone. Man Charged in Knifepoint Robbery Near the Loop

Another man was charged in December for the Oct. 25 robbery in U City.

A second man has been charged in a robbery in a parking lot off the Loop on Oct. 25. University City Police said that Jermaine Pate and Timothy Valley robbed a man and took his car. Pate, 23, of the 5500 block of Etzel in St. Louis, was charged Feb. 14 with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. Valley was charged with the robbery Dec. 7. University City Police said Pate approached a man in the parking lot near 605 Leland at 12:11 a.m. Oct 25 and asked for jumper cables. The man responded that he had no jumper cables, and Pate asked to borrow a cell phone, police said. Valley then came up and put a knife to the man’s neck, and Pate took out a handgun. Robbery Took Place at Defendants' Home, U City Police Say

The man arranged for the victim to come to his home to buy a handgun, then robbed him of his money and cell phone, police said.

A University City man arranged for a man to come to his house to buy a handgun and then robbed the man, police said. Wesley Hughes, 21, of the 1100 block of Backer Street in U City, was charged Tuesday with first-degree robbery. University City Police said Hughes arranged to meet another man at Hughes’ home on Backer Street to sell him a handgun. When the man arrived, Hughes displayed an item that appeared to be a handgun and robbed the victim of $122 and his cell phone. Police said the victim identified Hughes as the person who robbed him. Update: Details Emerge on Police Chase Into University City

The chase ended when the University City man turned towards an officer and pulled a weapon out of his waistband, and the Maryland Heights officer fired a shot.

A University City man faces charges with two counts of assaulting an officer after a high-speed police chase that started in Maryland Heights Monday. Patch reported earlier that a man led several led several police agencies on a chase from Maryland Heights into University City late Monday night and early Tuesday morning. Maryland Heights Police reported an officer had pulled over Jorge Wallace, 25, of the 600 block of Geoffry Lane in University City, at 11:48 p.m. Monday. The officer said the traffic stop, at Barrington and Summer House Drive, was for straddling the dividing lines on the road. Man Charged With Murder in Shooting Death of U City Mother and Son

One of the victims had been threatened previously by the defendant's friend, according to a University City Police report.

A man was charged Wednesday afternoon in the Oct. 29 shooting death of a mother and her son at Sutter and Bartmer avenues. Carlos Suber, 21, of the 1000 block of Roth Avenue in University City, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action. University City Police said Suber shot and killed Phebe Stallings, 54, and her son Mosary Stallings, 23, both residents of the 6500 block of Bartmer. Witnesses identified Suber as the person running from the shooting scene, according to court documents. Suber also has been identified as having a weapon and making threatening statements about Mosary Stallings, University City Police said. Suber is being held in St. Louis County jail. U City Man in Ski Mask Robbed Quick Stop, Police Say

University City Police said the man entered the store without the mask, and a witness approaching the store saw the man flee the store without the mask.

A man is accused of robbing the M&A Quick Stop on Olive Boulevard in University City Saturday. James E. Brown, 21, of the 6900 block of Melrose Avenue in University City, was charged Sunday with first-degree robbery. University City Police said Brown entered the Quick Stop store at 6800 Olive Blvd. and the owner recognized him as a regular customer. Shortly afterward, he came to the counter wearing a ski mask, pointed a gun at the store owner and demanded money. The owner gave him $300 to $400 and the man left the store. A witness saw him running from the store after taking off the ski mask. Police said officers arrested Brown later that evening and he was wearing the same clothes described by the store owner. The man was pulled over Saturday and arrested for driving while revoked and an outstanding warrant, police said.

A North County man was charged with carrying a weapon and driving while revoked after being pulled over Saturday in University City. David C. President, 20, of the 1100 block of Waldorf Avenue in Bellefontaine Neighbors, was charged Sunday with unlawful use of a weapon and driving with a revoked license. A University City Police officer said he saw President “involved in suspicious activity in the 6500 block of Bartmer Avenue at 2:15 a.m. Saturday. Man Robbed Man, Stole Car in Parking Lot on the Loop, Police Say

One man put a knife to the victim's neck while another pulled out a gun during the Oct. 25 robbery, according to University City Police.

A man was charged for robbing a man and stealing his car just after midnight Oct. 25 at 605 Leland Avenue. The area is a parking lot behind a restaurant on the Loop on the 6600 block of Delmar Blvd. Timothy L. Valley, 19, was charged Dec. 7 with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action.
