Police Release Victim's Name in Shooting Death Near Forest Park

The shooting happened around 6 a.m. on Thursday, FOX-2 reported.

A woman is dead and a man is in critical condition after an early-morning shooting near Forest Park on Thursday.  The shooting happened around 6 a.m. in the 6600 block of Oakland Avenue across from Forest Park near Clayton, Richmond Heights and University City, Patch's news partner FOX-2 reported on Thursday. The woman has been identified as Tequila Sanford, a 26-year-old resident living on Oakland Avenue. Watch: Vintage Vinyl Owner Talks 'Record Store Day'

In this video from our friends at FOX-2 KTVI, Tom "Papa" Ray tells viewers what to expect at Record Store Day at Vintage Vinyl on the Loop.

Vintage Vinyl will host live performances and have free drinks and exclusive albums for Record Store Day on Saturday. The annual event celebrates and supports independently-owned record stores across the country. Vintage Vinyl will participate from 10 a.m. to midnight with a packed music schedule that includes Sleepy Sun, Rough Shop and Dear John, among others, notes the store's Facebook page. The store will also host several guest DJs. Owner Tom "Papa" Ray spoke with our friends at FOX-2 KTVI about Record Store Day.  "It's a celebration of music, culture and small business," he said.
