University City Schools Are Closed Today Because of Icy Weather

Treacherous, icy conditions have shut down all University City Schools today.

All University City Schools and offices are closed today due to inclement weather. However, all University City High School students will attend a full day on Friday to complete finals. The University City Police Department says it has had no reports of weather related accidents and did not experience any increase in calls due to the weather overnight. On a personal note. I can attest to the icy conditions. I slipped and fell on my behind this morning  as I tried to take pictures of the ice in the 7000 block of Pershing Avenue. So, go slow.
