After a whirlwind book tour that saw him stopping in St. Louis twice in recent weeks, native son and Bravo Television executive Andy Cohen is atop the local bestselling book list. Another St. Louis native son, former basketball star and politician Bill Bradley, also cracked the top five. The National Council of Jewish Women, St. Louis Section raised funds to help meet the needs of women, children and families.
The National Council of Jewish Women-St Louis Section brought Andy Cohen, TV personality and native St. Louisan, back to his home town to emcee Bravo Saint Louis, an urban chic fundraising event held at Neo on Locust Saturday night. Funds from the event will support the NCJW’s mission of helping women, children and families in need. Cohen, Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development for The Bravo Network and host of Bravo’s late night interactive talk show “Watch What Happens Live” has grown to global celebrity status and has made a mark on pop culture with a laundry list of reality television shows for which he has been involved. This Saturday (April 28) will be a big night for the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW). The women’s organization, with roots extending back to its charter in 1893 will present its biggest and most expansive fundraiser in chapter history. The group is hosting Bravo St. Louis at NEO on Locust, from 7-11 p.m. Saturday, April 28. This is billed as an urban chic fundraiser and it celebrates the arrival of Clayton High graduate Andy Cohen, executive vice president Original Programming and Development for the Bravo Cable Television Network.
