School District: Student Questioned After Gun Incident
School authorities have identified a possible suspect and the student is being questioned by police.
The School District of Univeristy City has released a statement on the gun found Wednesday at the district's alternative high school, held in the Joy Lieberman Learning Center. See our previous story: Report: Gun Found at Alternative Ed Building The district's statement reads as follows: Late Wednesday afternoon a staff member found an unloaded and inoperable firearm at the Lieberman Learning Center – the alternative school located at 8136 Groby Road – that is separate from our other school facilities.
