Componere Gallery established itself in the Delmar Loop section of University City 24 years ago, several years before the area emerged as a renovated shopping and dining district in St. Louis. Since then, Componere has contributed to the area's revitalization by showcasing work by regional artists in a retail setting. Owner Eleanor Ruder and her son Jonathan manage the shop and Eleanor is an active member of the local art and business communities.
