Volunteers Needed: U City Jazz Fest

A variety of help is needed for the Sept. 22 event in University City's Heman Park.

The seeks friendly volunteers for their second free music celebration on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 12-8:30 p.m. in .

Volunteers are needed in a variety of capacities such as set-up, welcoming guests, parking, program distribution and clean-up. Friends and/or family members are encouraged to work together while performing a wide range of jobs, all of which help the event run smoothly, and makes families feel welcome.

The first 10 registered volunteers receive a limited-edition commemorative T-shirt, and the eternal gratitude at the 'jazz star' level from the festival promoters.
