Kids Raise $600 at Lemonade/Cupcake Stand

Six-year-old Molly Browne, whose parents own Robust Wine Bar, came up with the idea for the stand to raise money for Pedal the Cause, which benefits cancer research in St. Louis.

Congratulations to 6-year-old Molly Browne and her friends for raising $600 for Pedal the Cause at Wednesday's lemonade/cupcake stand in front of in Webster Groves.

Molly, whose parents own Robust, came up with the idea for the stand all on her own. All proceeds from the event will benefit Pedal the Cause, which is a St. Louis-area cycling event which raises money for cancer research, grants and clinical translational care.

In the last three years, Molly, of , has had three family members diagnosed with cancer. Her mom, Arlene, has been heavily involved with Pedal the Cause since it was founded in 2009. 

"(A total of) $600 raised for Pedal The Cause," Arlene tweeted Wednesday. "PROUD is all I can say... oh and THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!"
