Give Back: Volunteers Needed to Set up for Teen Dance

Help with a Teen Dance 

  • Volunteers are needed from 6:30-10 p.m. March 17. Teenagers between 13 and 18 with developmental disabilities attend the dances. Volunteers will help set up chairs, tables, food and check in participants. Assistance with clean up is needed after the dance ends at 9:30 p.m. Register here.

Join Youth In Need for their 25th Annual Celebration of Youth on Saturday, March 24

  • Celebration of Youth is a fundraiser held at the  and it takes hundreds of helping hands from the community to make the evening a success. Volunteers are needed to assist with the silent and live auction, and you may choose from multiple shifts available between the hours of 5 and 10:30 p.m. Come out and help continue the mission of reuniting families, sheltering homeless youth, helping families recover from crisis, and building futures for parents and children. Help Plan United Way Tri-County Campaign Kickoff

  • Join the committee that plans the . Help with marketing, sponsorship, silent auction, wine and chocolate vendors, feed or decorations committees. Meetings start March 12 and continue twice-monthly until September. Email Gary Snyder at gary.snyder@stl.unitedway.org to join a committee.

Volunteer with Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Service

  • Dedicated volunteers assist the Salvation Army in emergency response. Volunteers are required to attend an introduction to the Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services. One is scheduled for March 13 from 8 a.m. to noon at 1130 Hampton Avenue, St. Louis. The course is free and is designed for people who have just begun to volunteer. Sign up here.

Help Seniors Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

  • Volunteers are needed to join residents of Halls Ferry Manor near Jennings for light snacks, games and visiting between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. March 18. Register here.

Girls Go Tech Spring Break Camp

  • Take a fun approach to Science, technology, engineering and mathematics and help girls in 4th and 5th grade with activities during the week of March 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. This takes place in the girl scout council office at 2300 Ball Drive, St. Louis, MO 63146. For more information, sign up here.

  • Volunteer as a park or site aide and assist staff in daily operations of the facility in the summer and during high-use periods. Call or email for information. 

Connections to Success

  • needs an organizational ambassador who would assist with public speaking engagements, volunteer fairs and at referring agencies. These volunteers would man tables and inform interested parties about Connections to Success and its programs.
