Bravo's Andy Cohen Comes Home to St. Louis for Bravo St. Louis, An Urban Chic Fundraising Event

The National Council of Jewish Women, St. Louis Section raised funds to help meet the needs of women, children and families.

The National Council of Jewish Women-St Louis Section brought Andy Cohen, TV personality and native St. Louisan, back to his home town to emcee Bravo Saint Louis, an urban chic fundraising event held at Neo on Locust Saturday night. Funds from the event will support the NCJW’s mission of helping women, children and families in need.

Cohen, Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development for The Bravo Network and host of Bravo’s late night interactive talk show “Watch What Happens Live” has grown to global celebrity status and has made a mark on pop culture with a laundry list of reality television shows for which he has been involved.

He serves as executive producer on the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning Top Chef and The Real Housewives franchises and has been responsible for overseeing numerous hit shows such as Project Runway, Millionaire Matchmaker, Bethany Ever After and so many more. Cohen has many successes to his credit.

The night began with a special VIP meet and greet with Cohen at FK Photo Studios on Locust Street. The VIP event had the swank of a celebrity party with the feel of gathering with close friends. Cohen casually mingled with the crowd, pausing for photos and conversation. He charmed everyone with his boyish good looks and his famous crooked smile.

The main event was held across the street from FK Photo Studios at Neo On Locust. The “Real Housewives of St. Louis” mixed with the crowd and entertained on stage during a skit, a spoof of the Real Housewives TV shows.

There were surprises throughout the party and a live auction emceed by Cohen. Among the items up for bid was a trip to New York City to be in the audience of Cohen’s show Watch What Happens Live with airfare, dining and first class hotel accommodations; a starter wine cellar; and dinners for eight at several of St. Louis’s finest dining establishments.

Prior to the opening bid, Evelyn Cohen, Andy’s mother, spoke about her experiences as former president and longtime volunteer of NCJW.
