Professional Fire Fighters of University City Remember Sgt. Mike King

UCFD Local 2665 and UCPD raise proceeds for Backstoppers in memory of Sgt. Mike King who was killed patrolling the Delmar Loop in Oct 2008.

Professional Firefighters of University City Local 2665 are proud to announce the second annual Darts for Safety Tournament on April 27, 2013.

Darts for Safety is a annual dart tournament to raise money for the Backstoppers charity. Backstoppers is a non-profit organization that helps the families of fallen Police, Fire, and EMS who are killed in the line of duty.

Darts for Safety was started by University City Firefighter Jeff Barlage and University City Police Officer Brian Isenberg. All proceeds are donated in the memory of University City Police Officer Sgt. Mike King who was killed while patroling the Delmar Loop Oct. 31, 2008.

The event is held at Blueberry Hill on April 27. Darts for Safety would like to thank Blueberry Hill, Four Day Landscaping, Midwest Bank Centre, Wamhoff Financial, Tim Kohn Ameriprise Financial for sponsoring this years event.
