High school football coaches were busy cramming about prospective opponents over the weekend. They left the field Friday and Saturday afternoon, still not quite sure who they'd be playing this week in the new state football playoff system that now includes the "district system" used in other sports, with seeding thanks to a point differential that made every score count. Saturday evening, that schedule was released.
Here's how it all will start shaking out:
- University City vs. Normandy at 7 p.m. at Clayton High School
If U City wins, the team will play either MICDS or St. Charles West on Oct. 31.
