6-Mile Fun Ride with Ronald McDonald

The sun is shining, school is out for summer and it is Father’s Day weekend. What better way to spend a summer Saturday with the kids than riding your bike around Forest Park to support families of seriously ill children?

On June 16, 2012, families are invited to participate in a 6-mile Fun Ride with Ronald McDonald – part of the Third Annual Ronald McDonald House Ride, sponsored by Mercy Children’s Hospital. Proceeds from the event will help
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Metro St. Louis provide a “home-away-from-home” for families of seriously ill children.

Recreational riders of all ages will kick-off and end this scenic ride at St. Louis Community College at Forest Park. Families and community groups, such as Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops, church youth groups and more, are encouraged to participate.

When cyclists cross the finish line, food, drink and a host of other fun-filled activities await. A bike shop, fitness village and kids’ area, complete with a bounce house, will provide entertainment throughout the day.
