The 38th annual University City Memorial Day Run will be held May 28.The 10K and 5K runs run concurrently and begin at 7:30 a.m., an earlier start time this year.
The race benefits , U City in Bloom, and the University City Public Library.
Participants in the 5 and 10K events should be at the start in front of the by 7:20 a.m.

The Fun Runs will be held on Trinity Avenue in the neighborhood behind and will begin at 9:15 a.m. for children 9 and older, and at 9:30 a.m. for those 8 and under.
T-shirts will be guaranteed for all runners entering by May 4. Technical t-shirts are available for a $10 additional fee.

Awards will be given for the overall winners of the 5K and 10K events as well as to top finishers in five year age groups. Every child finishing the Fun Run will receive a ribbon.
Entry fees prior to May 28 are as follows:
- Adult — $20
- Children 12 and under — $10 for children 12
- Families — $55 (limit four T-shirts with a family entry).
Race day registration fee for adults is $25. Late registration and packet pickup will be held at the library from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 27, and on race day, 6-7:15 a.m.
