Website by WashU Students Connects St. Louis Restaurants, Farmers

Farmplicity.com launched this week.

A group of Washington University students have created a website that allows independently-owned farms to connect with St. Louis restaurants.

Farmplicity.com aims to 'simplify' the process of finding locally-sourced ingredients, Sauce Magazine reports. Students behind the project told Sauce their goal is to support small farms by making the clerical aspects of the local food movement more efficient.

The website launched this week, according to Sauce.
