Wash U Bear Ball Fights Cancer

The softball team celebrates Senior Day for a cause.

 in St. Louis' softball team celebrated Senior Day by partnering with Siteman Cancer Center and holding a bake sale and silent auction. All proceeds were donated to help find cures for cancer.

Cancer survivor Gayle Cook, mother of senior pitcher, Olivia Cook, threw out the first pitch in the Bears' second game of their doubleheader versus Monmouth College.

The Softball Bears swept the Scots 5-2 and 1-0.
