University City Schools Announce Snow Day Makeup Dates

University City School District Superintendent Wilson Pruitt says snow days taken will be made up at the end of the school year.

The following is a message from Superintendent Wilson Pruitt.

Due to the number of inclement weather days used thus far in the school year, the District has changed Friday,February 18 to a regular school day. The previously scheduled professional development day for teachers has been canceled in order to accommodate the regular school day.

The other six inclement weather days used this winter will be made up at the end of the year, in accordance with the emergency closing make-up days built into the annual school calendar. Those make-up days will be Tuesday-Friday, May 24-27, Tuesday, May 31 (early release for high school exams) and Wednesday, June 1 (early release for PreK-12 - record day/high school exams). If additional inclement weather closings occur, additional make-up days will be added as needed in accordance with state requirements.
