University City Principal Discusses Recent Weight Loss

New principal Mike Maclin has lost more than 140 pounds since the beginning of the school year, according to a KSDK report.

New University City High School Principal Mike Maclin’s job wasn’t the only thing he decided to change for the new school year.

The principal, who came to University City High School after serving as the Maplewood-Richmond Heights School District vice principal, started the school year at 395 pounds, KSDK reports. A strict diet has contributed to the loss of 143 pounds, he told KSDK.
