UCHS Robo-Lions to Compete at Regionals

This week at Chaifetz Arena on the campus of St. Louis University.

The Robo-Lions robotics team will compete at the FIRST Robotics St. Louis regional, known as the Rebound Rumble, on March 22 through March 24 at Chaifetz Arena.

A total of 43 teams from Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and Kansas are registered for the event, according to the FIRST Robotics website.

The event is free and open to the public. Seeding rounds of competition begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday and Friday, March 23-24.

This is the third year for the UCHS Robo-Lions (Team #3397) to compete in FIRST Robotics competition. In its first appearance at regionals in 2010, the team earned the Rookie High Seed Award. Last year, the team earned a gold medal at regionals to advance to the World Championships.
