UCHS Principal Back on the Job After Being Put on Paid Leave Last Month

The School District has reinstated the principal of University City High School after several weeks on paid administrative leave.

University City High School Principal Tim Wernentin is back on the job.

In an email to University City Patch, School District spokesperson Linda Russell said "Mr. Wernentin's administrative leave has ended, and he is back at University City High School."

On February 24th, the U City School District sent a letter to high school parents saying Wernentin had been put on paid leave until further notice. At the time, Russell said the situation involved a "personnel matter," and had nothing to do with any students.
