We are embarking on our third year of aggressive academic reform efforts with a focus on improving classroom instruction and assessing student learning throughout the learning process. With the support of the community, we will continue to make gains that positively impact student achievement.

Student achievement did not get to this level overnight, and it will not improve overnight either. The District has worked diligently to improve attendance rates and graduation rates, and we are now seeing the results of that work.

Representatives at the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education have advised our District to stay the course with our academic reform efforts, which we will continue to do throughout the District.
