U City Hires Malcolm Hill as Athletic Director

The U City school board made it official at its last meeting. This is the second hire from Maplewood-Richmond Heights in recent months.

Athletic Director Malcolm Hill submitted his resignation early last week. He has accepted the same position at

The School District of University City School Board accepted his contract at its meeting on April 19.

Hill would give no other details other than to say he’s looking forward to taking on the position at a school the size of University City. It’s a Class 4 school in most sports. MRH is Class 3.

Hill spent one year as MRH athletic director. .

MRH Director of Communications Brian Adkisson said the listing for a new MRH athletic director was posted on April 17.

MRH vice principal Michael Maclin is also headed for University City High School. Patch announced on March 9 that , starting July 1.

Parents can meet Maclin tonight at 6:30 p.m. at University City High School.
