Today is Final Day of School for U City in 2012
Winter vacation begins Friday for students in the School District of University City.
Students in the School District of University City will begin to enjoy their winter break later today.
Thursday, Dec. 20, is an early release day for the district. The early release means students will begin to leave school buildings between 11:55 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., depending on which building they are in.
Winter break begins in earnest for students on Friday, Dec. 21. School offices will be open on Friday.

All district buildings will be closed Dec. 24-26, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Offices will be open Dec. 27-28 and Jan. 2, according to the district calendar.
Classes resume for students on Wednesday, Jan. 3.
