U City Seeks Opinions on Early Childhood Program

The School District of University City is evaluating its early childhood education program and is seeking public input through informal meetings with the public.

How do you feel about the state of early childhood education in University City and specifically in the School District of University City? The District is evaluating its program and it is seeking the opinions of area parents and residents. 

The District Board of Education will discuss the topic at its work session at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at the McNair Administrative Building.

The conversation will continue with a coffee at 7025 Maryland Ave. on May 4 from 10-11:30 a.m.

Allison Gee, from the National Parents as Teachers (PAT) program, is the invited speaker for the coffee. She will give a short presentation and answer questions.

Three University City School Board members and administrators will be at the coffee to further discuss current and future plans for the district's 4-5 year olds.
