Women and the Arab Spring, a Forum Special Event

The Holden Public Policy Forum and Webster University will host a high profile panel discussion on the emerging role of women in the Middle East.

Featured guests include United States Ambassador to Egypt, Anne Patterson and U.S. Congressman Russ Carnahan (D-MO3). Ambassador Patterson has represented U.S. interests in Egypt since May, 2011. She previously served as U.S. Ambassador to El Salvador, Colombia, the United Nations, and Pakistan. Ambassador Patterson is also the featured speaker for the 2012 Commencement ceremony at Webster University.
   
Congressman Carnahan serves as a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, where he has been involved with issues concerning the role of women in the Middle East and Middle East stability and security issues.
