Washington University Students Will Try to Break Guinness World Record for Spooning

On May 12th the  senior class at Washington University will attempt to break the current Guinness World Record for most people spooning as part of the school's Senior Week festivities.

The current record is 529 people. With an estimated attendance of 700-900 and a class of roughly 1200 students, students are confident they will break the record.

In order to break the record officially, it is a requirement that the event both be covered by the media, as well as be photographed and/or filmed.

The event will take place May 12th on Francis Field (Danforth University Center Commons if it rains) from 12-1:30pm.
