Fox2News is reporting that Dayle Burgdorf, the 2011-12 interim principal, will be the next principal at Jennings High School.
According to Fox2, the Jennings School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Dayle Burgdorf as the principal of Jennings High School. She will begin her new position on Monday, July 9.
During her 11 year stint in , Burgdorf served as assistant principal at the high school and she was currently leading efforts to restructure the district’s sixth through twelfth grade alternative education programs.
“Ms. Burgdorf is an experienced high school instructional leader who has led improvements in academic performance and she has provided stabile leadership for staff and students. She has implemented innovative programs and built relationships with families across the community she has served for over a decade, and we are excited that she is joining our team,” said Dr. Tiffany Anderson, superintendent of schools for Jennings.
Burgdorf completed her Educational Specialist degree from Saint Louis University. In 2007, she was awarded the Missouri Assistant Principal of the year. She has also served as the president of the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals.
