Barbara C. Jordan Teacher Wins School Supplies from Office Max

The third-grade teacher was awarded $1,000 in supplies for her classroom.

Tori Palmer, a third-grade teacher at
Barbara C. Jordan Elementary School
, was given $1,000 in school supplies by Office Max this week.

She went to Office Max for classroom supplies the night before, according to Fox 2.  Palmer told Fox 2 she has spent $350 of her own money in past school years.

“I thank Office Max for giving me the supplies that I need,” she told Fox 2. “My students, you all are great. I’m excited to come to work every day and be a part of the team with you all. And other teachers just keep working hard. It pays off.”
