What Can You Buy in University City for $500,000?
With expected market improvement to continue in 2013 what can you buy for $500,000 in University City?
I expect there to be continued market improvement in University City in 2013. In 2012, there were 5 single family homes that sold between $490,000 and $525,000.
Below are two examples of homes that sold last year:
- 7215 Maryland Ave in the Maryland Terrace neighborhood sold for $505,000. The home has nearly 3,000 sq ft over 3 floors offering 5 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The seller enhanced the home during their ownership and added a contemporary flair.Â
- 7815 Lafon Place in Central neighborhood sold for $515,000. This home with has a 2 story addition that includes a newer kitchen, attached family room and master suite. There are 3 additional bedrooms and updated baths. Other updates included newer systems and windows.Â
