37 Opportunities for Fitness and Fun on Bicycles

A multitude of organized bike rides to participate in - with family or friends, in the city or the country!

Riding bicycles down a country road on pre-marked routes during the summertime is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Trailnet organizes dozens of bicycle rides every year that cater to all ages and levels of cyclists, from beginner to expert. On the newly released 2012 Ride Calendar, there are 37 events – 21 Bicycle Fun Club rides and 16 Community Rides.

Bicycle Fun Club (BFC) rides are held all over the region, from Wentzville to St. Jacob, IL. They offer a choice of several routes on low traffic, scenic rural roads or city streets. Mileage will vary anywhere from 9 miles to 70 miles depending on your preference. Many BFC rides are tied to food and local festivals—part of the FUN in BFC is socializing and eating after the ride!

Our Community Rides are a little closer to home and highlight regional treasures like the St. Vincent Greenway, St. Louis community gardens, and Mounds Trail. The emphasis is on fun, safety, appreciation of our communities, and spreading the love of bicycling. If you are seeking safe, family friendly bicycle rides, our community rides are for you.
