Traffic Ahead: Striping on Interstates to Begin

Be aware of slow-moving vehicles painting stripes on roadways during non-peak traffic hours.

Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) crews will close two lanes of eastbound Interstate 64 from Jefferson Avenue to the Poplar Street Bridge this weekend to paint portions of the bridge. All ramps from the interstate will remain open to allow drivers to get to the various events in downtown St. Louis.

In addition, several nighttime ramp closures are planned for the week on Interstate 70 and Page Avenue. All work is weather permitting.

Crews closed the ramp from westbound I-70 to northbound and southbound Interstate 270 on Thursday. It will close again from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday, March 23.
