Traffic Ahead: I-64 Lanes Closed Downtown, Closures on I-70

The lanes will be closed throughout the weekend.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced its weekend road construction plans.

In St. Louis City, two eastbound lanes on Interstate 64 at 11th Street and the exit ramp will be closed this weekend. The lane closures will start at 7:30 p.m. Friday and will occur throughout the weekend until 5 a.m. Monday.

Motorists are urged to use the 6th Street or 14th Street exit ramps on I-64.

On I-70, two westbound reversible lanes will close starting at 7 p.m., Friday throughout the weekend until 5 a.m., Monday. Crews will repair the barrier wall in this area.

  • I-70, St. Louis City, right lane on eastbound I-70 closed from St. Louis Avenue to Broadway until summer 2012.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, entrance ramp from 11th Street to eastbound I-70 closed until summer 2012.
  • Grand Blvd, St. Louis City, closed from I-64 to Chouteau by St. Louis City until mid 2012.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, starting at 8 p.m. Monday until November, crews will close the ramp from northbound I-55 to Route M.
