Maintenance crews will perform pothole repairs and bridge cleaning this week throughout the St. Louis area. Motorists are urged to watch out for MoDOT workers during moving operations.

Ramp to Madison is now open

In St. Louis City, the ramp from westbound I-70 to Madison is now open after being closed for one week.

Blanchette Bridge work continues

In St. Charles County, work on the eastbound I-70 Blanchette Missouri River Bridge continues overnight on Sundays through Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. until late March.

The work is being done to move fiber optic cable from the westbound bridge to the eastbound bridge to prepare for the upcoming major construction scheduled on the westbound I-70 Blanchette Bridge.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-70, St. Louis City, right lane on eastbound I-70 closed from St. Louis Avenue to Broadway until summer 2012.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, entrance ramp from 11th Street to eastbound I-70 closed until summer 2012.
  • Grand Boulevard, St. Louis City, closed from I-64 to Chouteau Avenue by St. Louis City until mid 2012.
