City Manager's Report

  • Conditional Use Permit (CUP) application for the Loop Trolley Company for the Loop Trolley, a public utility facility in the CC-Core Commercial District and PA-Public Activity District
  • Asphalt improvement project — approve award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Gershenson Construction Co, Inc in the amount of $339,000.
  • Transfer station repairs project — approve award to C. Rallo Contracting Co. in the amount of $186,050.
  • Replacement of three medium duty dump trucks from Public Works and Parks Department — approve award to Don Brown Chevrolet in the amount of $106,878.
  • Liquor license for Tivoli Theatre
  • 2011 and 2012 Community Block Grant amendment
  • Liquor license for Dollar General. Sale of all kinds by the package excluding Sunday sales.

New Business

  • Bill 9178 — An ordinance amending Title 9 "Public peace, morals and welfare." Chapter 9.08 "Offenses against public peace and decency of the Municipal cord of University City by enacting a new section relative to protests at funerals.
  • Bill 9179 — An ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a user agreement with the St. Louis County Emergency Communications Commission (ECC) for subscriber radios interoperable radio system.
