Council to Look at Upgrading Fire/EMS Dispatching

The council will vote on upgrading the CAD system in order to bring Fire/EMS dispatching in-house.

Chief Miner did a first rate job of research and analysis of the options available for fire and EMS dispatch. I wholeheartedly support his recommendation of bringing dispatch back to our PSAP and upgrading our CAD. If we would have done this three years ago (prior administration and prior mindset) we would have saved $231K. Oh well.
